When my partner and I arrived at Mountain Ash in the charming village of Horncastle, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming owners, Julie and Alan. the beautiful country house, surrounded by fields and a large garden, immediately felt like home. Our room was cozy and well-equipped with amenities such as a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a tumble dryer. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast options available every morning - from continental to à la carte, we were spoiled for choice. After a day of hiking in the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds, coming back to relax in the shared lounge area or garden was pure bliss. Not only did we enjoy the peaceful surroundings and comfortable accommodations, but we also loved the company of Julie and Alan's well-behaved dogs. As a solo traveller, I appreciated the sociable hosts who made us feel like part of their family. the location, just 50 km from Humberside Airport, made our arrival and departure stress-free. We were looked after with care and attention, and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in the heart of beautiful Lincolnshire. We will definitely be returning for another unforgettable stay.
